This Power supply was found in a 1950’s edition of the magazine Radio Experimenter. The diode can be replaced by an 1N4004 and the capacitors of 30 µF by 33 or 47 µF types. The 00 MFD capacitor is a 100 µF type. The capacitors are rated to 250 V or more. The potentiometers must be wire wound types.
