This circuit is a shield for microcontrollers and computers drivind high power loads. In the simulation the load is an incandescent lamp, but can be replaced with other loads such as solenoids and motors. Equivalent to the Darlington transistor can be used. The power source in the simulation is a 5 Hz x 5 V signal source that makes the lamp blink. Figure 1 shows the circuit.
