This circuit provides a linear charging for the capacitor. Time interval is adjusted by P1. The maximum time interval is also given by the capacitor. Times up to one hour can be achieved with a 1.500 or 2.200 µF capacitor. Remember the voltage fall of 2 V in the SCR when chosing the power supply voltage.
