September 2017 - Broadcom's AEAT 8800 Q24 magnetic encoder can be obtained from Mouser Electronics. These encoders have a programming kit, the HEDS-8988 which can be purchased from Mouser. The power of this encoder is made with voltages of 5 V or 3.3 V, the output modes are PWM with an absolute resolution of 10b to 16b.
