Mouser Electronics already has Intersil's IS8215M Power Step-Down modules, suitable for industrial, medical, automotive and telecom equipment. The modules have an efficiency of up to 92.5% and an output current of 15 A. The input voltages are in the range of 7 V to 42 and the output voltages from 0.6 to 12 V.
