The circuit shown in the figure is intended for medical applications where the sector in contact with the patient must be completely isolated from the rest of the circuit fed by the power network. The consumption of this stage is very low and the insulation for the 60 Hz power network is 2500 V. The circuit can operate with both analog and digital signals.
