In the figure we show an application in which the 4093 excites a stage with 4 transistors in the H-bridge configuration. This circuit, depending on the value of C1 can be used both to generate ultrasound in an electronic scarecrow for rodents and can be used to generate audible sounds on an alarm. For values between 1 nF and 4.7 nF we have the production of ultrasound in case the transducer can be a piezoelectric tweeter. For sounds the capacitor should be between 10 and 47 nF. Frequency setting is done in P1. All transistors should be mounted on heat radiators and the final power will depend on the supply voltage being able to exceed 10 watts.
