This stair generator uses an R/2Fl network to determine the amplitude of the steps. This circuit is also a Digital-to-Analog converter [DAC]. The number of steps is the number of flip-flops used in the configuration. The values of the resistor can be changed depending on the application, but it is not recommended to use values lower than those indicated in the diagram of Figure. The values for the resistors in the diagram can be increased depending on the application. The precision in the conver- sion depends on the tolerance of the resistors in the R/2Fl network.
