The basic idea of this 1989 circuit is to trigger a relay for a while when a call signal occurs on a telephone line. Thus, this signal can be used to trigger a light bulb or other device in the house giving the impression of someone being present. The circuit is indicated for the owner himself to call his home in his absence, and thus simulate his presence.
