This circuit can be used in panel signaling with common incandescent lamp. The lamp will flash at a speed given by the 10 uF capacitor and the 100 k ohm resistor. These components can be changed over a wide range of heat. Similarly, a 12 volt lamp allows the circuit to operate at this supply voltage.
