The project is from a 1992 publication, but totally current by the components it uses. The LEDs can be of different colors and are mounted in their alternating flashing sequences. The frequency is determined by the multivibrator capacitors, which can be changed. The circuit includes a transformerless source to connect to the 110V power grid.
