Figure bellow shows how the 4510 can be cascaded for counts higher than 10. The circuit shows the cascading process for parallel counting. The devices can also be cascaded for ripple counting. The maximum input frequency is 7.8 MHz when the circuit has a power supply of 10 V. See the site for more information about the device.
