I found this circuit in an English magazine from July 1982. The circuit is still viable because all transistors can be BD136 for TR1 and TIP31 for TR2. The circuit generates a modulated tone that can be used for warning or alarm systems. TR2 must be mounted on a heat radiator and the 12 to 15 V supply must provide at least 1 A.
