This circuit was obtained from a 1994 publication. Its purpose is to digitally switch 5 audio inputs by applying the output to the input of an amplifier or other circuit. The circuit is powered by a 12 V voltage and is based on known and easy to obtain CMOS integrated. Input and output signal cables must be shielded. The potentiometers control the signal strengths.
