This circuit generates high voltage for the firing of a xenon lamp. We found this configuration in a 1994 documentation. The T2 transformer is a 9 + 9 V, 250 mA secondary power supply type but can also be wrapped around a ferrite pole for lamp firing. The primary has 180 wire loops 22 and the secondary 2,000 wire loops 28.
