This circuit shows how to use the TTL IC 7790 to divide a square TTL signal by 7. Duty cycle is not 50% and the maximum operating frequency depends on the family of the IC. For standard TTL the maximum frequency is 10 MHz. The circuit must be powered from a 5 V supply.
