I have an old tube FM tuner and want to plug its output into a modern amplifier that seems to have transistors and integrated circuits. Is there a danger of burning the devices if I do this, as they are different technologies?
If the two circuits have their power supplies isolated from the power grid, which usually occurs, as the tube devices have a power transformer and the transistors or integrated ones too, the output signal from the intensity tuner being accepted by the amplifier does not there is no problem with making your connection.
