In fact, the letters of the alphabet and even using acronyms and abbreviations with 5 or more letters, are no longer enough to indicate everything. The letter A itself, for example, can indicate Ampère (current unit), Anode (electrode of a component) or even normally open (for a relay). With two letters we can give as an example AA which can mean Atomic Absortion, , Active-Active, Auto Adjustment, Anti-Aliasing or Audio Animatronics and so on. There is no way to know them all. The best solution is that in case of doubts, we associate some term of the text in which it is found, and we use Google. For example, if AB appears in a text that deals with bridges, we put AB and Bridge on Google, which he will certainly say is “Active Bridge”. In fact, when the term appears in a text to be translated, the Google Translator itself is sometimes confused …
