I am learning to work with microcontrollers. I saw that I must have several shields depending on the applications I want to create. Is it more convenient to build or buy shields?
You can count on many shields ready to use on the market and they are interesting when it comes to a more critical application, when you are not working on an experimental basis. However, in many cases, when you develop certain projects it may be interesting to mount the shield in a solderless board so that you can be sure of the values of the components used and the performance. In fact, to learn or design it is sometimes better to assemble than to buy ready-made.
