This filters blocks radio interference or noise coming from the AC Power line. Noise such as the produced by domestic appliances, fluorescent lamps and others can be blocked by this filter. The capacitors must have a WVDC of 600 V for the 110 or 220 V AC power line. Appliances up to 600 W can be used with this filter.
