Originally this circuit is from an English magazine, but I found it in Argentina's Radio Chassis Television Magazine in a 1978 issue. L2 consists of 80 to 100 turns of 28 wire on a ferrite rod. At the output we can connect either a crystal headphone or the input of an amplifier. For weaker stations use an antenna. The use of three transistors in a feedback loop provides high sensitivity and selectivity. Use the BC548 instead of the BC108.
