This low voltage-drop regulator (LDO) supplied by Mouser Electronics has input voltages from 1.6 to 6.0 V and output voltages from 0.8 to 5.5 V with currents of 300 mA. The voltage drop is only 140 mV with 300 mA and an output voltage of 3.3 V.
