I can use a standard multimeter to test SMD components. How to proceed?
SMD components (small components of modern appliances) have the same functions and, therefore, the same electrical characteristics as the older discrete equivalents of larger size. Thus, once identified, the test is done in the same way. Just be careful to know exactly which component is being tested (identify by the diagram) and if it is done in the circuit, pay attention to the measurements that must be found.
