50 uF or 47 uF (Q182E)
I'm building a circuit that requires a 50 uF capacitor. I went to the store and they tried to sell a 47 uF. They said it's the same because of tolerance. I did not believe.
Electrolytic capacitors and many other components have large tolerances. In electrolytic, it can reach the range of -20 to + 40%. So, there is no problem if you use close value in most applications. Many older designs recommend component values that do not follow the current standard. Using a close one you will have no problems.
