I want to set up an AM-FM stereo radio with digital indicator and a good amplifier. Can you get a good scheme?
There are certain types of projects that are difficult to assemble every day. One is precisely that of ordinary radios. What happens is that this type of device is usually bought ready and therefore certain parts become very difficult to obtain in the specialized trade. In the case of radios, the IF, oscillator and antenna coils can no longer be obtained from the component market, except for replacement. So setting up an AM or FM radio or both becomes very difficult as these parts cannot be achieved. It is like building a circuit with discrete components that can be obtained today in the form of a single integrated. So for radios we are facing a problem. It is easier to buy a ready-made (albeit inexpensive) radio and enjoy the complete radio circuitry by assembling the digital indicator and amplifier separately (which still consist of possible designs). Full radios are still viable in simple versions where few hand-wound, easy-to-adjust reels are used.
